What To Expect for Initial Visit
Health History & Spinal Analysis
The doctor will discuss your health history with you in order to get a clear picture of what brought you in and what your health goals are.
The doctor will do a comprehensive chiropractic exam to assess and familiarize himself with your spine. We pride ourselves in delivering the best chiropractic care that has been tailored to you. The doctor will teach you about your body and how everything is connected.
X-Ray
Full spine x-rays will allow us to clearly determine a proper care plan. X-rays provide us with an objective diagnostic tool that will show us the position of the bones, quality of the spine, and safety of treatment. We can also determine how long a spinal condition has been developing.
Report Of Findings
You and your doctor will review your exam and x-ray results and discuss care recommendations. The doctor will give you a detailed analysis of what you need in order to solve the problem that brought you into our office and what can be done to make sure it does not happen again.
We consider your current lifestyle choices, future goals, and possible challenges that are in the way. Our recommendations are extremely comprehensive and have the chance to be the solution that you have been seeking to find. Each plan is designed based on the results of the exam and x-rays. Care plans are a plan of action that the doctor believes will return you to optimal health and function.
Chiropractic Adjustment
Dr. Tao will walk you through your first adjustment. We understand that some people may be nervous to receive an adjustment, so Dr. Tao will explain what he’s feeling and what he’s going to do before he does it. There are many ways to adjust -from low to high force. Please let the doctor know how best to support you in feeling safe and comfortable!
